Why do sequels always fall short?!

I absolutely loved the first one, and its not to say that this one is bad, but it lost the appeal of the first. The 8 bit Nintendo look killed it! What is the look of this one? Not anything retro, which is what they captured perfectly with the original! Aargh!!! Its just not as fun! Its much harder, but not in a challenging way; Its just harder. Mega man 5 is visually unchanged from the first, and the first league of evil reminded me of that amazing fun! Why did they stray so far! I hate writing this, but its already my least played iOS game. I love you guys, but please release more levels for the original! Still, its worth the $2.99- I guess Im already a nostalgic LOE fan!

Best platforming mobile game ever

First thing:ITS TOO HARDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!! Its WAYYYY to hard its fun but mostly challenging it 5 star because challenging is what makes it fun! If it wasnt challenging I would rate 3 star well its a bit TOO hard. :) Thumps Up!

Fun

Fun cool and awesome

HOW??

I love platformer games, but the times you give in some of these levels just to get 3 stars are absolutely unrealistic. One of the levels requires 8 seconds. It takes me 5 seconds, going as fast as possible, JUST to get to the briefcase!! Then to get the scientist, I have to turn around and go allll the way back. Very well made game, but made by total jerks. Enough said. Game deleted.

I love it

I love this game. Its a perfect example of everything you can do right in a mobile game. - The gameplay is simple, while maintaining legitimate difficulty. - Beautiful Visuals - simple ( left, right ) ( jump, attack) controls. These controls actually work with iPhones/iPads and thats surprisingly rare nowadays. - Short and rewarding levels. - No pay wall in game This is a must have game and is well worth the money.

Fun!

Great platformer with excellent controls!

Game mechanics offer freedom

As a experienced platform gamer, Ive played SMB3, Mega Man 2, metroid, legend of zelda, and contra 3, along with many other games within the genre and other genres as well. So, I have lots of experience and knowledge on this stuff; and what I can say about this game is the fact that its very freedom-based. Getting used to the mechanics, I realized as long as you have a wall, you can jump forever and with practice, you can wait for spikes to retract, or slide down the wall to get that case, then immediately jump off and attack dash back into the wall to refresh your jump count (which reinforces my point of the game allowing you to do a lot). Enemies in this game are mere little obstacles that you have to watch for and know their patterns. The same goes for bosses. Its not like Ninja gaiden and Transylvania where you collect items and health to battle specific bosses a certain way and best them by knowing their movements to the T. In this game, the hardest and toughest boss is yourself, as although the game mechanics delivers lots of freedom, the execution required to stay in control is abnormally strict. You have to be very precise with your movements and know exactly what youre doing, lest you die from bullets, venom, spikes, arrows, or energy balls. Outside of gameplay, the artwork and comic-book like design on the cutscenes are a nice touch to get engaged in it and are fun to see. The design of each world is also a nice look to give that (youre a secret agent" type of vibe and the multiple costumes to choose from (dont be deceived; multiple in this case is 5). The level design is very diverse (in a 1980s way, with no bike sections, it vehicle sections) with various pathways to areas and sectors. However, each level is pretty short and to the point, which is sometimes a downer and other times an non-existent matter. Overall, this game is fun, and if you like games with freedom like most 3d platforms, mega man x, metroid games, and super mario World Series, then choose this game (its also good to start little kids on with when they never played a excellent video game before).
